Ahead of its formal graduation rites, the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) presented the highest-performing cadets of its Class of 2026 during the Kapihan sa PMA 2026 press conference held at Longayban Hall, Fort General Gregorio H. Her achievement places her at the forefront of a graduating class that completed both the traditional Bachelor of Science in Management major in Security Studies and a new set of microcredential courses designed to address the demands of contemporary military operations.

Although the Class of 2026 graduated under the existing Bachelor of Science in Management major in Security Studies program, the PMA introduced a series of supplementary microcredential courses to address gaps between the current curriculum and the evolving requirements of military service.
Per the PMA Public Affairs Office, the microcredential subjects completed by the graduating class covered the following areas:
- Python Programming
- Data Analytics
- Unmanned Systems
- Electronic Warfare
- Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence
These supplementary courses signal the Academy's awareness that modern battlefields are increasingly shaped by technology, cyber operations, autonomous systems, and information warfare — competencies that have historically received limited emphasis under traditional military education frameworks. Lieutenant Commander Jesse Nestor B. Saludo PN, Chief of the PMA's Public Affairs Office, conveyed the institution's reaffirmed commitment to developing officers who are equipped to carry out the AFP's core missions — which include defending the nation's territorial sovereignty, securing the safety of the Filipino people, and supporting international peacekeeping engagements.
Looking ahead, the Academy noted that its transition to a new, fully integrated curriculum — one that will embed modern warfare competencies from the ground up — remains a primary institutional priority, supported by ongoing investments in academic and training infrastructure.
