Artillery Regiment Visit: Communications and Reserve Integration
At the Artillery Regiment, Lt. Gen. Gumiran held a Talk to Troops session and commended the unit for its prompt action in bolstering maneuver units, according to the Philippine Army Public Affairs Office. The PAO release, cleared by Col. Louie G. Dema-ala, noted that Gumiran also recognized the regiment's drive toward a unified communications system and its rollout of the Artillery Reserve Integration Program.
During the same visit, the Army chief fired a ceremonial salvo and, together with Artillery Regiment Acting Commander Col. Jose Noel T. Romero, unveiled a newly constructed Supply Building at the installation, the Philippine Army Public Affairs Office stated.
Combat Engineer Regiment: Focus on Personnel Readiness
Lt. Gen. Gumiran extended his support to the Combat Engineer Regiment's efforts to raise its personnel readiness rate, characterising the initiative as a strategic step toward ensuring the full capability of the unit's specialised enablers, the press release stated.
Combat Engineer Regiment Commander Brig. Gen. Ricnon U. Carolasan presented the unit's assets and capabilities to Gumiran during the visit, according to the Philippine Army PAO.
"STRONG" Army Framework Reiterated
Lt. Gen. Gumiran also reiterated his six-point command agenda under the "STRONG" Army framework. The Philippine Army Public Affairs Office said the agenda covers six pillars: Stewardship, Transformation, Readiness, Organisational Development, Nation-Building, and God-Fearing.
The Philippine Army Public Affairs Office added that the service remains "resolute in carrying out its mission, guided by its Command and senior leaders who shape decisions, set priorities, and strengthen an institutional culture anchored on readiness, professionalism, and faith in God."
